Hi again,
I got an offer for my laptop, 600€ do you think i should accapt it?
Anyways i've been thinking...i realy need a laptop for its mobility, so maybe i wont buy ths computer parts individually...im probably going to sell this laptop and buy a new, better(lol), laptop...now...witch one do i chose, assuming that i would sell my laptop for those 600€ and to those 600€ i would add my savigs of 250€, so my total budjet is 850€...
what laptop is the best choice? On the "notebookreview" site they say that the nVidia GeForce Go 6800 is the best choice for a gamer like me...advise me about that...

Best regards

I don't think 600€ is a bad offer for the Pavilion dv5000 notebook. Now as far as the GeForce Go 6800 is concerned, that would depend on the type of games you like to play & how avid a gamer you actually are - although the 6800 is now a graphics chipset that's increasingly moving down the performance ladder.

There are now newer model of GeForceGo. But i dont think that you can get a laptop with the latest model with 850€ price point. If you can get a laptop with 6800Go i think thats a good buy. This laptop will be sufficient enough to play games in the HalfLife2/Doom3 era.

If you thinking of playing Unreal3/CryEngine2 engine games i think you better stick with desktop and get the Core2/8800GTS/2GBDDR2 PC with the same price point.

Even CnC3 can only be set to be in mid settings if you're thinking of playing this game on 6800Go.
