Hello guys can anyone tell a way to run May Payne on winXPPro SP2 cos it crashes during loading a level on the loading screen, while it runs fine on old windows versions even on windows 2000 i have windowsXP pro SP2 installed and 3.0Ghz CPU and 1GB RAM and Geforce 6600 PCI-E Card , the problem may not be lying in the OS its just my guess, if anyone else is facing the same problem please give me some suggestions.

Hi
Max Payne (1) was a DX8.1 based game and not supported on xp pro , however
there are a few patches around will reckon they sorted it, id try running it in winxp win98 'compatability mode' 1st to see if that works see link "Set Compatibility Properties Manually" to win98 .

(maxpayne2 was fixed for winxp)
