Greetings,
I'm having a little bit of a problem and would like some suggestions/help to correct this problem.

I recently just put together a beast of a machine, but i'm not at all impressed. I've done some research, and found that i'm pulling in way under what i should for the specs i have in doom 3.

ASUS A8N SLI Delux, NFORCE4 Mobo
AMD64, FX-55 @ 2.6 Ghz
1GB Giel Ultra Ram, Dual channel pc3200
TWO (2) Nvidia 6800 ULTRA's running in SLI
one (1) Raptor, 10,000 74 GB HDD
--

When i run doom 3 on ultra (or high) with 16x , and all options turned to high @ 1024X768 i'm only getting 40-50 FPS - Doing some reading i've found i should get above 100 FPS. Also, i ran some 3dmark05 benchmarks, and i did come in at 9545, but again, doing some reading... people with the same setup are pulling in scores of over 10,000.

anyone have any suggestions for me? i'm about to pull my hair out trying to figure out the problem.

I've updated everything to the latest drivers from nvidia as well.

THanks!

Not sure if it will help but you might want to experimemt with adjusting specific settings like Full Screen Anti Aliasing in your Graphics Control Panel.

See the frsme rate guide here :

- Sorry you'll need to copy / paste that link in Google I can't seem to just post a shortcut on this website unlike other forums.

If need be post in their forums for further suggestions.

I would also download benchmarks app.
and try to pin-point where's the problem
coming from, ram, drivers... Make sure
your Bios settings are optimized.

AMD 64 3200+ 754
Abit KV8 Pro
1go 2x512 DDR 400 Kingston
FX5700LE
160 gb SATA Maxtor
