Okay my problem is, I play World of Warcraft, My computer specs arent all that spectacular (2.80 gigahertz Intel Celeron, 1gig ram, and Raedon 1650x pro AGP video card) my fps on wow is really low and the settings are all turned to the lowest possible, is there any way of making the fps better? i've defragged, disk cleanup etc already, Ive cleaned the folders etc from wow. I run MSN while i play wow so i can understand that contributing to it abit, but is it possible that my video card is not seated properly? cause i know its a massive card and only just fits in my case.

thanks in advanced

The system requirements for WOW aren't very steep...your specs far exceed the requirements. Your problem could be related to either your internet connection or you have way too many background apps running. Which anti-v program do you have?

if your video card wasn't seated properly, it's more likely that you wouldn't see anything, or that 3D gaming would cause the system to crash, or any number of unusual behaviors. Low FPS is more indicative of system resources being limiting.

your video card isn't highest end, but with AGP on your motherboard, pretty much anything that could technically be considered an "upgrade" would be too much money for not enough performance boost. If you really want to upgrade hardware, another gig of RAM would probably be your best route in terms of price/performance boost.

other than that, like jam said, look at anti-virus and background apps and try and slim it down a bit.
