Hi all

im looking for some help if possible
Im buying a new graphics card and decided on the nvidia 6600gt chipset.

Ok so far so Good
Ive got a Agp motherboard so slightly less performance that the pci express boo hoo.

But look what ive found the manufactorer BFG are doing a version which is factory over clocked!! The standard Core clock of 500MHz is boosted to 525 MHz and the Memory to 525 so parreleling the pci express rates.

Brilliant i want one
Problem i cant find one in the uk
Does anyone know where i can find a supplier in the uk

Any help appreciated

Hi
I know p.c world sell that model.I am sure though there are far cheaper places to get them i.e www.dabs.co.uk or microdirect.co.uk.

I will tell you I had a computer open today at the workshop and it had a fx 5600 256mb card in it.the score in 3dmark was 2387.
We replaced it with the BFG 6600gt overclocked edtion and the score was 451.
half of the test played at 1 frame a second.
take my advice and stear well clear of this card it is abismal.

I will also say I wouldnt want or buy a pci express system at the moment.we demo a game on many p.c's at work and the pci express systems dont come close to what the agp gives in clarity and performance.
I work at p.c world by the way lol :)

Hope this helps,Good luck

I bought one of these cards and after 10 days fighting with it i couldn't get it to work (kept freezing) and i took it back and swapped for a 9600xt which i'm very happy with. They're supposed to be great cards if you can get them to work but have compatibility issues with some mobo's according to what i found on the net while trying to make it work.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!
