I'm looking for a gaming motherboard , at the moment I have Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTS graphic card, and a Intel Pentium D, Core 2 duo, 775 socket, 3,2 Ghz Processor.
Any suggestions :)?Thanx

How about listing you're current motherboard so we have an idea what you're upgrading from....
"Intel Pentium D, Core 2 duo"
Which is it? They're not the same thing...it's one or the other.

The only info I've found on the MS-6701 shows it as a board used in several Medion PCs. It's listed as a S478 board based on a SiS chipset. Would that be right?

You can have a look at the ASUS MAXIMUS FORMULA:

Rigth now the price is quite nice for $220:

And I think if you do want to get a better gaming machine, you should upgrade your video card to the 8800 GTx, sice the 9000series is coming out the price for the 8800 seems dropped a lot.

That Foxconn board gets a 56% rating while the Gigabyte board gets a 75% rating & the Gigabyte is over $100 cheaper. The Abit gets a 60% rating & is even cheaper than that. We're not talking about a really good CPU here...the 3.2GHz Pentium D lags behind even the 1.8GHz Core 2 Duo. How long are you gonna hang on to the Pentium D?

EDIT: what I'm getting at is if the board you have isn't all that bad & you don't plan on upgrading the CPU for a while, there's probably no point in upgrading the board.
