Looking for a PC 1stperson-shooter title

Specs: Windows XP/98
Possible name of game
Well... toughy, I always thought it was something like Operation.. and even Delta Force, but I doubt it was the game. Problem is, I played all games available then so i mix the names up.

Game genre (General)
1st person shooter, 3d world, modern warfare

3D, First-person

General dates
I think I played this end of the 90's, míght be early 2000 since it had a decent multiplayer mode.

Now, I have some details that i think are specific for this game.
It was a modern warfare game with extended maps, especially for that time.

Specific details:

- You could throw sort of magnetic mines, these would stick to the wall, ceiling, ground anywhere. It had a colored 'trigger beam" when it was passed the mine would go off. You could see the beam if it was your mine, opponent obviously not. I think it was a blue beam.
Because of this, I'd say it was more future warfare than modern warfare actually.

- There was a sniper option, where you could lay down and it would automaticly 'throw' a camo net on you, so you were hard to spot.

If this rings a bell for anyone, please enlighten me! Its driving me nuts, lol.

Thnx for reading.

I saw crytek ceo interview on youtube. Crytek doesn't own farcry anymore they lost the battle to ubisoft.

We can not fight new wars with old weapons, let he who desires peace prepare for war - PROPHET.

I don't know the answer to your question but if I may recommend another, AVA, it is free on steam and it is a pretty sweet game. Sorry I couldn't be of any help for your actual question
