Hi, I am looking for a new graphics card (see my post a few lines down for the reason why), I want to get a decent card, instead of the Intel motherboard card included with my computer. I am looking for a decent card for around $50-$60, that can run games like Halo 2 and World of Warcraft. I just want to be able to run these programs, I dont need the best graphics ever, just something that will run these games, at least Halo 2.

Not sure of the price where you're from but, the Radeon X1650PRO or the GeForce 7600GS/GT are good "allrounders".

Since you're running Vista, I highly suggest a card that supports DX10. Also, nVidia cards tend to be preferred choice for Linux.

Increase your budget:

NOTE: notice that this card is factory overclocked & uses GDDR3 memory rather than slower GDDR2. This is a decent "bang for your buck" card.

BTW, if you read the customer reviews, take them with a grain of salt...many of them are clueless. Case in point, the idiot who gave the card a low rating because it's advertised having memory at 1200MHz, but it actually runs at 600MHz. DUH! That's what DDR is all about!

Here's something that I just found on another site that may convince you to get an even better video card:

"Newegg has a new $20 off $100 code PAYPAL20 available"
