looking for a grafix card under 200

If you shop around you can get a geforce 6600GT for under $200. I got mine for $187 from best buy online. Apparently they perform better than a 9800PRO and actually almost match the 6800 in some areas according to Toms hardware guide. (unfortunately i'm having probs with it just now but i think its PSU related, rather than the card. At least i hope so!)

For $200 definetely get a 6600 GT. By the way dmacdoul, what psu do you have? my friend recently purchased a 6600gt and had psu trouble because his was 150 watt.

my psu is 230 w. Is that enough or do i need more power for that card coz it seems ppl are having problems with power shorteg.

If you plan on getting a 6600 GT AGP or cards like it, you should definetely upgrade your power supply to atleast 350 watts. I reccomend skipping generic companies and getting high quality PSU like those from Antec. also if you had posted this in the General Hardware section, you may have recieved more/knowlodgeable posts.
