*THIS IS NOT A WIRELESS MOUSE*

For some reason anytime i strafe and look to left or right in counter-strike my new logitech mx518 lags for half a second this is really annoying i just bought this mouse online brand new for 30 bucks and it does this crap only in counter-strike it works perfectly in other pc games though no lag at all. is it the setpoint 4.0a software?

again *THIS IS NOT WIRELESS* its wired optical 1800 dpi mouse.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Argh the problem came back. And when I wrote this yesterday i worded it wrong, its more of the lines of "SKIPPING" and not "lagging"

If anyone has any idea how to fix this please share your idea with me. Taking it back is not an option it was ordered online and im not gonna pay to ship it back.

I tried with it on and then tried with it off it still skips, if your talking about the mouse filter in counter-strike.

My two guesses are..

1.) Uninstall mouse drivers and do a clean install of the Logitech software.

2.) Have USB drivers up to date, as well as motherboard and BIOS. Try resetting the BIOS settings to default settings.
