Hi,
This is a unique problem and have found absolutely nothing on it in my extensive internet searches. I've finally decided to resort to posting on a forum.
I have an external keyboard connected to my laptop. The laptop has no PS2 port, however, so I was forced to get a PS2 -> to USB connector and utilize the keyboard in that manner.
I just got the laptop and I play a lot of first-person-shooters. The problem is that the laptop seems to limit the amount of input from my keyboard. That is, I can only press down two keys at a time (a major disadvantage in an FPS) and no more. This makes, say, crouching, firing and stepping to the side impossible.
I know its not an issue with the external keyboard because it works fine on my other desktop system. I have attempted to find ways to increase the keyboard buffer to no avail -- and I can't be sure there isn't a problem with using a PS2 -> USB connector. And uninstalling the laptop's keyboard (where the limit might exist) is impossible since Windows just detects it when I boot up.
I'd GREATLY appreciate any information that might help to correct this limitation! Thanks!
