"what do i need for this"
you need a lptop with a really powerful graphics chip a gig of ram since much of it is taken up by your sound and video in laptops a fast hdd such as a 7200rpm model and a decent cpu maybe 2-3ghz, but remmeber that cpu speed is not important to gaming as much as video card, you really need a good video card also, look for one of those fancy new upgradable graphics chips they're putting in laptops these days you will have to compromise on size, it will be heavy and bulky, and you will have to compromise on battery life and as everyone else said it will be very expensive
what is painfully obvious to one person might be just painful to the other
