i have tried to play many games on my laptop like sid meries railroad world in conflict settlers IV and many.. but there is a problem i am facing whenever the game runs more than an hour the game just hangs .meaning pc just hang up. due to laptop i am able to stand by externaly so i force it stand by when everything is hang .when i restore it the game begin to run fine .then after some time the this thing is repeated.I reduced the graphics of every game to min. but still the problem exist . there is nvidia geforce go 7400 card of 256 mb already there. and all the game i played above on my laptop ok for my laptop seing the recommendeed configuration. So please tell me how to remove this problem. And it is not sure that it is able to stand by every time.Some time it does not stand by also. saurabhthelord

oh so that is the problem.I cannot make it forcefuly work but is there anyway through which i can reduce the game load on notebook. because i have tried a game kane and lynch it works fine.but due to overheating notebook close itself automaticaly saurabhthelord

You could take the machine apart & clean it out -- if it's clogged up with dust bunnies -- to maximize airflow. But short of gaming on a desktop replacement there's not so much you can do to help the situation. Jabbering Idiots: Everywhere You Look!
