I have a intel pentium 4 laptop and i was doing a 3dmark (benchmark) it is a program to test or evaluate your system on its performance in games. And it also evaluates your computer to tell you what is exactly in it EVERYTHING inside and out. Some crap i havent even heard of before. But most people say my laptop cant have an AGP card but when i was reading the system evaluation it says i have an AGP slot on my motherboard supporting 1x,2x,4x...so that means i think i have an AGP slot to upgrade my card. and it says supported slot types,
ISA, PCI, AGP. Anyways I was wondering do laptops only use mobility or GO cards? ie. Radeon 9800 mobility or Geforce 6600 GT GONorman

You might find that the Graphics card is on board ie integrated onto the motherboard, (im not to fasmiliar with laptop hardware but im pretty sure) which would mean you don't so much have an AGP slot, as the card uses an AGP bus.
I think you'll find it unable to be upgraded (not sure tho)?
Gigabyte GA-8SGx M/B
P4 2.66 HT
1024 Mb 333 RAM
Gecube Radeon X800 XT platinum 256MB
XP Professional SP2
80 GB 7200 RPM
200 GB 7200 RPM
XP Pro

A couple of things. First off the agp bus is what it is refering to and not necessarily an agp slot. On a desktop the agp slot links to the agp bus directly but on a laptop they hardwire it to the bus but it is on the motherboard. This means two things, one that you are stuck with your graphics card, the best you can do is upgrade the drivers and second be aware that laptop graphics cards will steal your system ram from windows for graphics if you make it work. Also as for the T&L that is not directly linked to agp but it is a enhanced feature of the more current 3d capable cards. It is transform and lighting for 3d. That depends on the chipset. sorry but you are stuck.
