Comment: Hi Lately i have been having a lot of lag problems whenever i am on the internet or playing games it will freeze for 10-15 seconds every minute or so. I have a cable connection which is connected to my router threw a 100 foot network cable. I tried hooking my comp up to a friends lan who has the same type of connection as me and everything was fine. This use to never happen and I have no idea what caused it. Its getting really annoying, anyone got any advice please?

Reply: (edit)If youve hooked up your computer to another lan and there no problems, its most likely there is a problem with your router. Have you tried reseting it yet? Also check the CAT5 cable ends for any damage.

Reply: (edit)I had a bit of lag on my router I reset it and thinks ran much quicker, I would also recommend scanning your PC for spyware, viruses and defrag the PC, defraging can help loads sometimes
