joystick handle seems loose

My joystick handle is loose and when i go to calibrate the crosshair it doesn't go all the way to the right it goes like half way and all the other directions work fine. When i go to play a game the airplane turns to right really slow when i am using the joystick and sometimes jerks to the right cause its loose. Any solutions? its an logitech wingman attack 2.

This is when it gets fun for me. When I know something's broken and I'm going to buy a new one anyway I take it apart and try to figure out how it worked. Usually I end up with a mess but sometimes I'm able to make it work again for a week or two :)
