Ok now for many times we have talked about how many bits my card has, my box said 128 and the net 64. Is there an app that can spec that ans a whole lot more (not from presaved stuff, really looks at whats happening).
So now we can finally agree that a Atlantis Sapphire 9200SE is 64 or 128 bit card.
Mod it till it bleeds

it has 128mb memory, 64 bit card. here
Email me for info on how to get a free ipod. Proven to work by many different sites.
Dell Dimension 4600
Pentium 4: 2.66 Ghz
533 Mhz Front-Side Bus
250 W PSU
256 Mb PC2700 RAM
AGP 8x

Hey this is betwen me and Jam. lol guess my box said wrong but still i want to know with a app
Mod it till it bleeds

Tell me EXACTLY what it says on the box. Does it specifically say 128-bit memory bus?? or does it say 128-bit graphics??
When someone refers to a card being 64-bit, 128-bit, or 256-bit, it's in reference to the memory bus width, not the graphics engine.

I'm not sure if SANDRA will give that info, but it's a good program to have regardless:

A couple of things you should look at...
Here's a link to the Sapphire 9200SE. Notice that the memory bus is NOT mentioned. In reference to the graphics, it says, "128-bit floating-point color precision allows for a greater range of colors and brightness". However, this is NOT the memory bus!

Now look at this description of the Sapphire 9800. Notice that the memory bus IS mentioned. In fact, it's in RED so that it stands out. Here's what it says:
"128-bit memory interface removes hardware performance bottleneck and provides end users with faster 3D graphics"

Screw the card, ure app found some stuff in the tune up i dont quite understand
Large memory sizes should be made of Registered/buffered memory
Disabled host controllers are present. check bios settings
What do they mean and what can i do, i managed to fix the others. Tanks for the app and this weekend i might get a true radeons 9550 when im going to kingston
Mod it till it bleeds

"i might get a true radeons 9550"
Make absolutely sure you get the 128-bit version, because there are a LOT of 64-bit versions of the 9550 out there.
"Large memory sizes should be made of Registered/buffered memory"
That's just a general statement from SANDRA & is nothing to be concerned with.
"Disabled host controllers are present. check bios settings"
Which board are you testing? Did you install the motherboard's chipset drivers? Did you enable DMA? If it's a VIA based board, did you install the IDE Miniport driver?
