I think you should upgrade your processor, ram & video card if you want to play the latest games like Half-Life 2 for an example.

i aggree with esp. time to upgrade alittle. i have 4 pc's and all have atleast 512mb ram. so you can probably see i would want atleast 512mb ram. u need to research your motherboard see what it will take (cpu). u can pick up a 2ghz celeron for $63 and a 1.4ghz celeron for $41. do u have a agp slot?

u can check out prices at

first you need to upgrade is your Vid-card.
choose a cheap 128MB one like Gforce FX5200.
Then,next is a new MB+Processor, a P4 with
2.4 Ghz is best price/performance at moment.
Then, upgrade to 512MB Ram. Next performance you might get at a raid set of 2 HDD U133
with each at last 60GB and WinXP OS.
Then, after 1 Year new Graphiccard ,after 2 Years next MB+CPU,3rd More Ram, 4th new OS and so on....

Whoah! Where have you been with upgrading recently? SD PC100 Ram is not really good enough anymore to run the top games! The rest of the comp needs a tune up as well really

1 ghz processors were first released in 2000. So simply, you have a three-year-old computer. It will run any games of that age without any troubles, and probably run most newer games too.

For new high-end games you'll need a faster processor, more RAM, and a better graphics card. You'll maybe be able to play many of the newest games if you lower the settings - resolution, sound quality, etc.

Best Wishes,
Bob

That is good if youre gonna run solitare. If you're gonna play UT2003 no. Max Payne 2? Forget it. Halo? OMG. If I had money I would get you a new computer just because you need it(sarcasm!).
