teh GeForce is better, but they are both kinda mid-range cards.

The Radeon is better..
The Fx5600 XT is horrible..even the NU/Ultra gets its ass kicked by the 9600 Pro.

The Radeon 9600 pro is totally better than the 5600XT. Nvidia XT models are slower clock rates. Unlike ATI whos XT models are there faster clock rates than there standard or pro models. So if you buy a Nvidia range of cards dont get the XT models because there clocked slower than Standard and the ultra. But if you get the ATI range of cards go with the XT models because there clocked faster than the standard or the pro editions.
