hi guys i just want to now if my pc is up to spec for playing the latest games on ultra-high settings and detail my pc spec.
intel celeron_D 2.66ghz,512mb of ddr pc3200 ram (200mhz),gigabyte pci-e geforce 6600 256mb graphics card,foxconn 661fx mobo, well guys is my system up to spec to get the best proformance out of games like fear and rome total war and such email back thanxs

Definitely not "ultra-high settings and detail". You'd need a better CPU, more RAM, a better video card, & I'm not sure about the board. I know that when it comes to AMD systems, SiS based boards generally = low end, low budget, low performance

your first downfall is that processor (CPU), a celeron is for basic computer users, it'll be fine for internet browsing, word processing, etc. but it will always fall short for gaming, because it wasn't designed for it (many people believe that they are relabled Pentium 4's that didn't pass the stress and stability tests)

if your board supports dual channel DDR RAM, then get another 512MB (same brand, same model stick), otherwise, you'll be ok for now as it's just not worth putting another stick into a single channel only motherboard

and last but not least, you video card is decent and should be enough for today's games for at least a while now, because games are designed to work on a wide range of computers including older setups, so your vid card should do fine.

jam its not just a plain celeron its a celeron D wich are better rite also with my computer specs i listed before can i play this game its specs are.recomended,
athlon/p4.processor
1.5ghz
512mb of ram
32mb pci/agp graphics card
thats the lord of the rings bfme specs. email bk thanxs
