The only access I have to internet where I live are Dial-Up, Cell/Air card, and 1.5 DSL. What I want to know is how much internet speeds affect Online game play. Mostly MMO type games. My Pings are pretty good, I was just hoping someone could explain this to me.

Shouldn't even have to ask. When's the last time you surfed using a 56k dial-up connection? How about a 1.5GB DSL connection? Did you notice any difference between the two?

I was afraid that would be your answer....I just didn't want to spend the money on a new system, to find out that gameplay will be crap in the end.

Gameplay will only be crap if you play on dial-up. The internet connection will dictate the speed of online gaming.

Sometimes when travelling I use my Cell/Air card to play Warcraft and still get decent response and that's slower than DSL, so DSL should be fine.
