i bought a computer from Dell and it comes with a intel integrated extreme 2 graphics card. I could try and put something better in down the road but thats not a option right now. I have a gb of ram and im trying to play WoW. can anyone tell me how to change the graphics setting to 128 in the BIOS?

When the computer is starting up and you get the dell splash screen, hit F2 or F1 or something for setup (itll say it on the bottom of the screen what to hit). Then just find the option that says like what to set for video memory or something and change it to 128mb. it should be obvious what option to change.

U can play WOW on anything as low as a Gforce 2 so it should be fine... (Just dont expect any graphics and very choppy gameplay. If you are really strapped for cash, go onto ebay and buy a FX5500 or 9250 for cheap (I would say u need AGP, Check First) else buy a new card and get one at retail price of <$40
NOTE: this card is bottom of the range and will not play much more than WOW on normal settings (I have 1 and it is pretty good for WOW and older games only)

Summary: Integrated graphics are NOT upgradeable. If you're currently using 8MB of the system RAM, you *may* be able to increase that amount by changing a setting in the BIOS...they usually go 8, 16, 32, 64MB....

Summary: unless you play archaic games like myself, integrated graphics won't do games very well at all. dedicated GPUs are so cheap nowadays too... I POAST THRAD!!!!!!!!111!1!1!! if(GetCookie('computingnet_im...
