I have an HP with an integrated Intel Extreme graphics card with 64mb shared. I am trying to install my new Radeon 9800 pro. I am having a few problems. First, do I have to disable the integrated card, and how do I do so? Second, I get the message, "setup was unable to complete the installation. Try to setup your display adapter with a standard VGA driver before running setup", while installing Catalyst. Any words of wisdom?

Check the HP site for how to disable. A P4 would be newer and most likey disabled in the bios (as opposed to a mobo jumper).

If there is no option to disable in the bios, check for an option regarding allocation of the video memory. If you can reduce the allocated memory to 0 mb, then the card will be disabled.

If this does not work, I recommend reposting in general hardware for a better response.

You can disable Integrated Graphics in Control Panel > System Devices or in BIOS. You can also try changing your current display adapter to Standard VGA.
