The average laptop isn't designed for gaming & you have to know exactly what to look for when choosing a "gaming laptop". I doubt the Acer Aspire qualifies.

We need to know the model number & which CPU it has. How much RAM? Which graphics? Which games are you trying to play?

Well I only really want to try to play a few games the specifics
being the Halo pc games the main problem is that Halo 2
Vista tells me that everything is capable of running it except
the graphics memory which needs to be at least 128mb.

The laptop is the 5738Z and has
an Intel Pentium Dual Core mobile processor T4200
3gb of RAM
250gb internal harddrive but I have about 4 more 250gb hard
drives
The graphics card is the annoying intel gma 4500m (annoying
cause its capable but wont let me increase the damn
memory)
