I have a small network running, the server is on Windows Small Business Server 2003. All connected computers (45 terminals) are running XP Pro SP2, and are of varying specs.
My question is:
Can I buy a multi-user license for all/any game, install/store on the server/network, then install to the terminals without using the CD a dozen times.Additionally, I want the clients to hotswap between different games available without going round physically inserting discs.
Basically, I want to implement a Gaming CyberLounge type system, how is it done (legally! no cracks, NOCD patches, etc etc, I know how to do it that way... less gaming companies allow NOCD patches assuming you have the correct multiuser license)?
Apologies if this post falls under the 'Network' thread, couldn't decide.
Thanks to anyone that can help.
Tommy.

I would guess raid. Or i would also guess that steam has cybercafe deal so that will probably help you i know that's what a lot of cybercafes do. That's all i can think of i am not completely sure.

NO-CD Cracks are not illegal if you own a license for the game. To install games on multiple systems, you will have to utilize the fact that most games use InstallShield as their preferred installation shell. You can run an install with a /r switch to build a setup.iss file. See the below website for help.
