i would suggest either a 256mb nVIDIA GeForce FX5700 or 6200 depending on preference such as the one here by newegg, these are very good cards and are at a very nice price :)

i got a Dell gx260, 780mb of ram, 2.4 pentiem 4, im playing counter-strike right now and it is kinda bad like frezes and crap and like NFS underground II.

If you're not planning on upgrading your CPU and what not anytime soon, I would suggest an ATI 9600 Pro. You can get one for just under $100 easily.

The Radeon 9550 128MB/128-bit card is just slightly slower than the 9600 & it's cheaper. If you're into overclocking, it will easily clock up to 9600 settings. Here's one for $67....
