Found this on another website for you, give it a try...

Hello,

This controller uses the standard 2-axis 4-button joystick driver that is supplied with Windows.

To install your controller:

Click START -> SETTINGS -> CONTROL PANEL.
In the Control Panel, double click on the GAME CONTROLLERS or Joystick Icon.
Once in the Game Controllers window, first make sure that the Controller/Status box is empty. **(If it is not empty, click the “Remove” button to clear all it’s contents)**
Click ADD and select 2-axis, 4-button joystick.
Once the status on the controller reads “OK”, click on the “Properties” button.
Select the SETTINGS Tab and then click the CALIBRATE button.
Follow the on screen instructions to calibrate your joystick.
Now, click the Test tab.
On the Test screen you can check to make sure that your controller is functioning properly.
Now click the APPLY button to save your changes and then click OK to exit.
Please note for your controller to function properly in your game you will need to change the controller options for your game. If you need assistance please consult the documentation for the game or contact the manufacturer of your game.

Also going to the game controllers section of the Control Panel and seeing if the device is listed and and shows up properly it's the first step to solving the issue, once it works there then if it still doesn't work within the game, see if it has any config settings that would be able to be changed to make it work.
