im lookin to buy a new pc and i want one that will allow me to play bf2 on it.can someone look on this site and tell me if there is one there that will meet bf2s specs, thnx
pass the barge pole plz, pc world UK is the last place for a gaming pc, underpowered graphics and over a grand.
ask any of their sales ppl for a demo, arf! "company policy says we cant touch the pc's ....( did you miss the tv doc about them recently :D
you should state a max price, as for pc spec anything as good or better than below adds to gameplay,
cpu:intel/amd 3000 / 3200+ ram 1 Gb ddr400 graphics 6600gt / X800 pcie rest up to you
bf2 plays fine at 1024*768 no AA no AF med settings on above. check out systems here 'Titan V' as a starting point for specs/prices. #Be aware prices are falling on AMD/intel# maybe next month some better deals.
thnx for that 1stepbeyond but i seriously dont have $10,000 to play about with, i have 2 options really spend about £700 on a pc or wait till the ps3 comes out. i can do w/o a monitor as im lookin for a pc with a tv out graphics card as i have a 42 inch tv and would rather connect it to that so if i could just find a decent base then im sweet.bf2 is just one of the games i would like to play but also ghost recon advance warrior as i still constantly play gr ds&it.if i could get a decent base for between £500&£600 that would be fine.any suggestions on where i could find one would be appreciated
i wouldnt bother with 2 gig of ram 1 gig is fine. the 4000 amd isnt worth OCing unless you think so lol its fast enough.
i use freezerpro , you need reasonably sized case to fit that comfortably with the psu cables,& go for a 500 watt antec dual rail + pcie connector.
about the ps3 its rated about uk rrp £500+ here but cheaper in the USA? id wait for the grey imports to see how they are rated 1st like the xbox2 a lot of sad faces when they saw the initial price and lack of availability, games will be ridiculoulsy over priced.
check this url this is the 10 grand pc btw its in dollars but anywho http://www.inkjetcolorsystems.com/titan_V_features.htm
im lookin for a ready built pc and the one i mentioned seems to be gd,the one i have at the mo is cack so i really only need the tower.dont think im ready to build one yet.thnx
about the ps3,when i got my ps2 i didnt get one of the first ones to come out i waited on the second batch and im glad i did cos my bro got the first batch and after a yr he started havin probs with disc read error, now there was nothin wrong with the disc bcos it worked fine on mine, then i started to here some of my m8s havin the same probs with the first batch.my bro has had 3 ps2s since then and im happy to say ive had 1 which works perfect to this day.funny how they seem to go just after the warrenty runs out.lol
£528.69 Including VAT at 17.5% you could inquire wether an upgrade to a better cpu is available as prices have dropped a bit. the 7600 BFG GT OC plays bf2 fine again could inquire for a 7900. yes your right about the initial batches of ps2 failing there was a bloke locally made a fortune in repairs, drive motors failed alot for some reason.
ive actually seen a gd pc on the site u gave me and its been reduced from £799 to £599 only thing is i need to be sure the graphics card is gonna last for a while, here it is,
