I just built a new PC for gaming and want to know what the experts think.
Motherboard: ABIT NV8 NVIDIA NF4-4X
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 3400+ Clawhammer
Memory: 2gb ddr ram (generic brand)
Graphics: EVGA Geforce 7800gt
I do have a question, I am getting a mixture
of paging file and irq not less or equal blue screen errors. I have run mem test, windows is fully updated and my drivers are updated any clue?

Also if anyone can give me info on improving performance (overclocking and the likes) it would be greatly appreciated, I dont want to mess with things to much, but tweaking things a bit for performance would be ok. I have an Antec Smart Power 500 Watt Power Supply

That's an odd configuration...why didn't build a S939 system with a Venice or San Diego core A64?

If you've already built it what is the point of asking what anyone thinks. You should have asked before you purchased the parts.

As for you blue screen errors, I was getting the same things after installing all the "optional" utilities that came with my motherboard (ASUS NF4) that were related to processor utilities, overclocking, etc. I since reinstalled without all that crap (I also disabled the nVidia firewall) and have not had 1 problem.
