i need to play my new crisis game but i getting directorx errors when i cliking install from menu i can play aoe empires and diablo 2 ok so what did i do wrong with crisis

Crysis is probably THE most hardware intensive game there is right now.
"Minimum Requirements
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz (3.2 GHz for Vista), Intel Core 2.0 GHz (2.2 GHz for Vista), AMD Athlon 2800+ (3200+ for Vista) or better
RAM: 1GB (1.5GB on Windows Vista)
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT, ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (Radeon X800 Pro for Vista) or better
VRAM: 256MB of Graphics Memory"The keyword is minimum. The recommended specs are MUCH higher:
"Recommended Requirements
CPU: Core 2 Duo/Athlon X2 or better
RAM: 1.5GB
Video Card: NVIDIA 7800 Series, ATI Radeon 1800 Series or better
VRAM: 512MB of Graphics Memory"http://www.crysis-online.com/Inform...
The games you mentioned (Diablo 2 & AOE) are almost 10 yrs old & have requirements in the range of 233MHz CPU & 32MB RAM.
If your system doesn't at least meet the minimum requirements for Crysis, it won't be playable. List your system specs...CPU, RAM, video card.
"And that's the fishing line, because Sharkboy said so!"

my fast game nachine has gforce 4000 mx 128ram adapter, amd durion pc, and says 448ram. my freind said i should use nvidia 70s driver is this why crisis won't play?

"my fast game nachine has gforce 4000 mx 128ram adapter, amd durion pc, and says 448ram"
Fast game machine?? lol
"not good ?"
Not good at all. The CPU is weak, the video card sucks & you don't have enough RAM. And you didn't even mention the make/model of your motherboard? Drivers definitely are NOT the issue.
"And that's the fishing line, because Sharkboy said so!"

your system specs are extremely low. it wont play any newer games. i suggest getting a completely new system. your current system wont even sell for money anymore.
Core 2 Quad q6600 2.4GHz@ 2.9GHz 323x9
MSI P6N-FI nforce650i Mb
3GB OCZ RAM DDR2800@645
2x250GB HDD in RAID 0
2xDVD-RW
Foxconn 8800GTS 320mb 630/1410/1840
ATI TV 550pro
FSP 700w

"i will buy a gforce 570 le and 128ram tomorrow..."
Do NOT waste your money!! Your computer will not play Crysis with that hardware!! The FX5700LE is another crappy card & 128MB RAM isn't gonna help. Your system simply isn't powerful enough.
"And that's the fishing line, because Sharkboy said so!"

Read the minimum requirements again, that's why I posted them:
CPU: Pentium 4 2.8GHz or Athlon 2800+
RAM: 1GB
video card: Geforce 6800GT or Radeon 9800Pro with 256MB memory
You would need a new CPU, more RAM, much better video card & a new power supply. You'd have to spend $300 or more just to meet the minimum requirements. It's definitely not worth "investing" that kinda money on an old PC.
The FX5700LE doesn't come close to meeting the requirement & what would be the point of adding 128MB RAM? You only have 448MB now...448MB + 128MB is only 576MB, you need 1024MB (1GB).
As I said in the post above: Do NOT waste your money!! It's time for a new computer...or at least a newer computer.
"And that's the fishing line, because Sharkboy said so!"

ok my pc smarts freind will order me a new adapter and double ram kit from ebay today he saw my post and said i need a nvia 8800 or 960 so he will order it for me so i can soon play crisis finaly he knows my pc he put a dvd writer in for me before

Dude, your system won't take a "nvia 8800 or 960"...it's too old & doesn't support PCI-express video cards. And I highly doubt it will accept a "double ram kit".
Why are you asking for advice here, then listening to someone who obviously doesn't have a clue? I'm guessing you're relatively young. Many of the "helpers" in this forum have been working on computers for well over 10 yrs. Who would rather take advice from? Sabertooth, zcubed & I are all telling you the same thing...it ain't gonna work. You may as well just flush $200 down the toilet!
Why don't you tell us EXACTLY what your current system specs are...if you don't know, ask your "pc smarts freind" to make the list for you. Here's what we'll need:
- CPU: the exact model. There is no such thing as an "amd durion"...you either have a Duron (which I suspect) or a Turion (which I doubt). Either way, we need to know the GHz speed.
- motherboard: make & model or at least the chipset the board is based on. If you have a store bought PC (HP, Compaq, Dell, Gateway, eMachines, etc) just give us the model number & we'll do the rest.
- RAM: you said you have 448MB. Is it PC100 or PC133? It could be PC2100, PC2700 or PC3200 but I highly doubt it.
- video card: you mentioned the Geforce 4000...my guess is it's either an MX400 or MX4000. You also mentioned a "gforce 570 le" which I assume to be a Geforce FX5700LE. Regardless, all of them are outdated crap & cannot play games from 2008. Also, the cards mentioned are either standard PCI or AGP, so we would have to know that too.
power supply: we need to know the total wattage & the amperages for the +3.3v, +5v & +12v rails. You can get that info from the label on the side of the power supply...you will have to open the case to see it.
There are programs that will help you to identify your hardware. SIW (System Information for Windows) is one program that will help:

CPUZ will also give you info about the CPU, RAM & motherboard:

jam's right, u better stop listening to your 'smart friend' and do some reading online. u need a whole new system. your processor will NOT handle any new games out there or any new graphics cards out there. for roughly $400-600 u can make a decent budget gaming machine that will be able to play crysis(at low settings but still playable).stop wasting money on upgrades that will do you no good.

Yea spend your money on a new system...your pc wont run any new games.technology goes forward.everyone needs to upgrade at least 3 or 4 times in there life.
AMD Athlon 64x2 3ghz duel core
3gb 800mhz ddr2 ram
bfg 9600gt oc 512mb graphic card
asus mx2 se mobo
160gb hdd 7200

haha i have core 2 duo 2 gb ram 8600 gt and still not satisfy with crysis. u saying ur machine fast.the crysis sucks machine u must have atleave 4 gb ram quad core and 3870 then u will be satisfy but it requires mone :(
