It's tough to recommend an upgrade when we don't know what you have. It looks like it's *probably* a single core S939 Athlon 64 3500+ at 2.2GHz. That's really not too bad.

Gaming relies heavily on the video card & the Radeon HD 4350 is NOT a gaming card...it's for Home Theater systems (HTPC). If you wanna enjoy your games, buy a decent video card, & depending on what you get, you may also have to get a better power supply. Check this article:

thanx jam, ya it has the 3500 processer. since i posted the question i found a website that will allow me to build my own cpu.( im sure you've heard of it Ibuypower.com) this is the one i have set up

quad core amd athlon II x4 620

liquid cooling system

ati readon hd 5670 1gb

asus m4a785-m amd 785 hybrid crossfire chipset w/8-ch audio, Gb lan, S-ata raid, usb 2.0, 1 pci-e mb

650 watt -- casegears eco-element 80 plus certificated high efficiency power supply

500gb hard drice -- 16m cache, 7200 rpm, 3.0gb/s

is there any thing else that i should use other than the stuff listed above? The price for the computer i made is $643 which is about $150 short of what im allowed to spend, any suggestions would be great.
