To run this game, I must set my display to 256 colors but the advanced button on the settings tab of display properties is disabled which prevents me from getting 256 color mode. Can anyone help me out?

Administrator? I have my own log in username and pass word. Do I need to get another one or like get special permission?

You will need the administrator of the computer to either make you an administrator, or change it for you. The admin is typically the owner of the computer. So, this might be your parents, your room mate, etc.

Can I put a question here?

Obviously it's a very old game. It will probably have to be run in Win98 compatibilty mode.

To get 256 color, try this:

Right click anywhere on the desktop, then click Properties. Click the Settings tab > Advanced button > Adapter tab > List All Modes button. Then select one of the 256 color options.
