everytime i install something i have to take my 256 ram out because it wont let the installation finish. when i have my 256 ram in my comp and i reboot my computer the windows xp proffesinal says it can't copy the files to my computer. But when i take out the 256 ram the installation completes. Same thing when i install games, the files cant be copied to my comp but when i take it out the installation finishes.
ANyone know why? ANd how to fix it?

how did you know the problem was the Ram,
how did you know that you needed to remove Ram
to somewhat fix it... ?

i have an error message saying...RUNDLL
Error loading NvCpl.dll
Invalid access to memory location.after i finish updating my wacraft III game.

sry didnt put enough information on RESPONCE 4.
When i try to go battle.net on my warcraft III version 1.00. A message says i need to update my warcraft to go on battle net.so i did, after that it told my to restart warcraft.so i did, when i went to warcraft again and clicked on battle.net it told me that the update is succesfully finish and to press restart. i clicked on restart and it says " error applying update".
i am using windows xp proffesional service pack 2. Total physical memory 382.48mb.
Total virtual memory 2.00 GB
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce MX4000

type that error in a search engine and youll get tons of results...i think that error message is a video driver problem?....go research it and youll find out how to fix it

The MX4000 is a low end piece of crap...it's a recycled GF2, 64-bit & only supports DX7. By today's standards, definitely not a good gaming card. The RUNDLL - Error loading NvCpl.dll has to do with your video drivers. Make sure to install the drivers as per nVidia instructions....remove the old drivers 1st (usually in control panel > add/remove) & make sure your antivirus program is disabled before installing the new drivers
I suggest you download memtest86, run the program to create a bootable diagnostic floppy, then test your RAM. If you find any errors, replace it. Most RAM has a lifetime warranty, so all you'll have to do is contact the manufacturer They'll provide you with an RMA number, then just ship it back for a replacement.
