Rip a mdf/mds image of the game to your harddrive using alcohol 120%. Then burn that image to cd-r using alcohol 120%. Also you should drop your burn speed to about 32x or less to avoid errors during burning.

OK, since I do alot of CD ripping and emulation, here's what to do:

Search CLONYXXL on Google:
Find a download of the newest version. This program scans discs for copy protection and reports it. The Sims should use something like "SafeDisc 2".

CLONECD IS CRAP:
That's right, CloneCD never did me any good. It shuts down when i tried to copy Rise Of Nations, so don't even waste time with it.

Alcohol 120% is the BOMB!:
Alcohol 120% is you're all in one tool for CD ripping, all it doesn't do is "undetectable emulation" and "cd copy protection detection". Though the CD Copy Protection can be found out by using CLONYXXL and...

UNDETECTABLE EMULATION:
Wanna run your CD's from your hard drive? Unreal Tournament 2004 can see right through your trickery! Download a program called DAEMON TOOLS. It has perfect emulation and can emulate BlindRead, CCD, and MDS, and many more CD Image Filetypes. But remember, this should only be done for Video Games that YOU PERSONALLY OWN, if you don't do this, bad stuff will happen. Though i'm not sure what...maybe some big hairy hermaphrodite will attack you with soap on a rope.

No Problem pal, I'm here to help.

The guy asked how to backup game cd's onto another disk, yet you said nothing on how to do that. you told him how to install an image on his hard drive so the game thinks the cd is in the drive.THATS A TOTAL WASTE OF HARD DRIVE SPACE! Just use a cracked executable for that. My first reply on how to backup game cd's works just fine, Maybe you should try it and save some disk space?
