Some people are like Slinkies?, not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs...

LoL, depends on many factors, your resolution, and your settings for graphical details for the game and your system specs. If you have 1 Gig ram, 2.4+ P4 processor, and pretty much a 9800 Pro or a 5900XT+ video card, you should be able to play maxed out settings at the higher resolutions, pumping out good framerates. Farcry is very demanding in grahpics, RAM, and CPU usage, so if your computer can even play the game at 800x600 above 30 fps, with no file swapping, you're good, otherwise, if you have a mid-ranged "gaming rig", i'd say average FPS at resolution 800x600 SHOULD be from around 30-50 FPS with settings on High, it could and PROBABLY WILL DROP if you have a celeron processor lower than probly 2 ghz, or a p3, or if you have 256 ram, it WILL file swap ALOT, if yiou have 512, there will be occasional fileswap, 768-1024, you shouldn't really notice fileswapping. I'd say Farcry is really more demanding in RAM, tuning down everything to lowest of graphics and resolution 640x480 still lagged hecticly on my 256 ram.

On my pc I average about 50 fps, all settings on very high, no aa/af. i agree with elite i had 512mb ram before and i had a lot of lag spikes, put 1 more 256mb stick in and they were gone and gameplay was much smoother.

k? thx.

hhmmm....I can run FarCry on Low settings in any resolution (30-40 fps)but when I up the graphics to medium it plays like a dog on valium. 10 fps tops. I think it's my grpahics card, see sig?
