I don't know much about computers but I have a laptop so I'm guessing that the video driver and stuff that it came with won't be the best. I was just wondering if I would be able to update my driver? Would this make graphics and stuff in games better?
I have Windows Vista and with the DirectX Diagnostic Tool I can get this information (if it is helpful...):
I am running DirextX 10
Device
Name: Mobile Intel(R) 965 Express Chipset Family
Manufacturer: Intel Corporation
Chip Type is the same as the name
DAC Type: Internal
Approx. Total Memory: 358 MB
Current Display Mode: 1280x800 (32 bit) (60Hz)
Monitor: Generic PnP MonitorDrivers
Main Driver: igdumdx32.dll,igd10umd32.dll
Version: 7.15.0010.1591 (English)
Date: 28/10/2008
WHQL Logo'd: Yes
DDI Version: 10I don't know if any of that helps but that's all the information I can find....

Laptops generally are't very good for gaming unless you get a "gaming laptop"...they usually cost well over $1000.
Why didn't you post the make/model of your laptop rather than that info? Based on the "965 Express Chipset Family", I can guess that you *probably* have Intel GMA X3100 integrated graphics. If you look at this table of 170 different notebook graphics, the GMA X3100 ranks 132...not very good:

Here's a gaming review of the GMA X3100:

Drivers aren't gonna help.

Your game performance will likely be very limited on a laptop. You can of course update your systems drivers to try to squeeze every ounce of performance you can out of your system. I recommend doing regular driver update scans with automatic driver update software. Follow that link; they have a free scan you can try.
I hope it helps.
