how do i enable open gl on my 5500? ive got the sub-menu's (analogue display) but there is no information on switching between open gl and direct 3d. any help? thanks

opengl is not enabled by you, it will be used in any game that was created using OpenGL. OpenGL, like directx, is a basically a set of pre-defined functions for shading, shadows and other rendering techniques. Examples of OpenGL games are DOOM3 (I think) and Half-Life. Half life actually gives you a choice as to which one to use, but OpenGL works much better with that game. However, Direct3D is the standard, being an implementation of DirectX. (I am not entirely sure about this post, so if anything I said is wrong, please will someone point it out)
