Hello. Hosting a Game Server (via a program designed for hosting a specific game) has always been a problem for me. All because I use Wireless and It gives me a 192.168.X.X IP when I go into CMD.

I am part of a Wireless Network of 2 people. (My brother hosts it) and I'm connected to him in the other room. I don't want to host it on his PC as it's my business and he wouldn't allow.

So my question is, how can I host a 'Gaming Server' in a Public Network so people can connect to me.

to connect via ur LAN or publically?

lan is pretty straight foward and most games have the option of hosting a lan game.

a public server however i doubt you could host from your house. Your isp would not like you, and players would get horrible rates.

what game is it your trying to host, i might be able to point u in the right direction.
