Your specs actually seem good for gameplay.
Question: what do you mean you're not happy?
What kind of problems (if any) are you having while playing games? Your video card is more than sufficient as well as your processor. Please give more details on what you would like to accomplish.

Hi mate, its really all down to 1)how much money and 2)what games you what to play,if money is no object, then i would say get this system, amd athlon fx55, ati x850xtpe(the nvidia geforce 6800 ultra is a really good card aswell but i'am a ati fan and i think ati are the best, but either card will be amazing, for the mobo i have a kt800 pro board, and its really good for overclockers (i think)but there is the nforce 4 boards(i'am unsure what the performance is like on these boards)but i can't see them being anything but amazing, then i think you should get some ddr 2 ram(at the moment i don't think theres that much differance between ddr and ddr 2,aside the fact that ddr2 is future proof)for the hard drive its all down to the amount you want,i have heard good things about the new maxtor diamond max 10 hhd, well, that about covers it for me,maybe a 21inch tft monitor,7.1 surround sound,i have no dought that others will name different system specs and parts but these are all good guys and what ever system they say to get, i can bet that it will be a top rig, again i hope this helps you mate

if you think you need a new computer but don't have the money you can try this! Buy a 74gb raptor hdd and do a full XP pro install, or just reformat your hdd and do a full xp pro install(you will lose unbacked up flies). I have heard that with the new 10k rpm hdd, your computer runs a way better, it a relativly cheap upgread, but is time consuming.

To me your specs are perty good for getting a new computer. have you done any matanence on your computer? (i.e. defrage, disk clea, spybot/adawear scan, and viruse scan)

I got a dell laptop and is can with a bunch of crud i didn't need so i just reformated the hdd and put xp pro on there.
