HL2 ending kinda premature?

I was just starting to enjoy the super gravity gun especially seeing how easy it was to shoot down those damn gunships, when all of a sudden after wrecking the portal, the mysterious G-man jabbers and credits began to roll.
My first reaction was, don't tell me it's the end of the game, but unfortunately it was. Now was anyone else's fun cut short too, I thought with the cataclysmic sequence of the game, taking down Dr. Wallace Breen would be a lot harder or to say the least more challenging.
I guess I'll have to wait for HL3 to know what really happened to him.

I played it on normal NOT easy, but am gonna replay it on hard next time. Eitherway that will not change my gripe with the ending, however I second that opinion that the game is indeed good.

I reckon people only complain about the ending because they were disappointed that there had to be an ending at all!
