Hi I have a 2.4 quad core processor and an nvidia 88oo pci video card I was kicking but on medal of honor Allied Assult my latency speed (I P) was always a steady 40 but suddenly it has raised to a steady 100 and will not go any lower I have contacted my on line service provider but have been told that i am running at turbo speed yet in the game i lag so bad i can't even kill anyone help someone please how can i get back to my lower latency speed

do you run antivirus? high network traffic that you cannot explain can be a bad sign...
also, when gaming online, if you interact with someone else who has high latency, it will slow you down as well while your system waits for responses from the other player. Are you sure the problem is on your end?
