OS: Windows XP Pro
CPU/Ram: Intel Pentium D 3.4ghz 51
Product: Intel
Comment:

So recently I re-ghosted my computer back to just the OS with all drivers. I re-installed counter-strike and updated it completely. Now here is the problem. When I am playing counter-strike it will exit unexpectedly without any errors. Nothing else happens. Counter-strike exits and I am back to desktop. It is very random too. Never on a schedule exit and it seems to have nothing in common from the last exit. No clues to what is causing this exit or crash. It has never done this before. Any reasons to why this is happening? I have tried re-installing the video drivers and chip set drivers with no luck. I have a good idea it is my integrated video because when i am online browsing the internet, I will use my mouse scroll and it will leave multiple black horizontal lines all the way across my screen. Could it be anything else?

Computer Specs:
Intel Pentium D 3.4 Ghz processor
Intel D945GTP Motherboard
Allied ATX 300W Power Supply
512MD DDR2 RAM
Creative Labs Sound Blaster Audigy SE
Integrated Intel Extreme Graphics 3
Microsoft Windows XP Professional w/ SP2

Thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot for the post. I will definately give it a try when I get home from work. I played this morning without any faults, but I still feel as if the problem is still there and I got lucky. :p
Thanks again.

It might have something to do with your Video Card drivers, I know after I downloaded the Beta for my Video Card I couldn't load Half-Life 2 anymore. I was never able to fix it but see if you have two Video Card Video Updates, they can be conflicting with one another.

WELL. I uninstalled the Graphics Accelerator and it has fixed my problem. Lol its almost the same just without the fancy stuff! I ordered a GeForce 7600 GT XXX edition OC'ed!! I should be getting it shortly. Another note, It recommended that i have a PSU that is 350 Watts or more :\ I had to order a stronger PSU too. I got the new Ultra X-Finity 600 Watt psu. Ultra quiet fan with dual 80mm fans! I am very excited. The only thing left to get is a mobo (DFI LanParty NF4) and a some more ram :p
Thanks for all the help guys!

Surrrrrrrrrrrrrrrre.
