hello, i want to install linux linspire...so i want to ask tht casn i run counter strike 1.6 non steam on it and play on my LAN...i have a windows supported setup and non steam patch..they will work on linspire..and other games such as nfs2,Grand theft auto,max payne...and etc..plzz help me!

Why would you even won't Linux. You have Windows Xp, it is better and harldy any games support Linux. You'll be left behind in months cause already the are games that require Windows XP to play. If anything just stay with windows, if you don't like it go to MAC.

Linux is a different beast and better at different things then Windows and vice versa. Some just want Linux as a hobby, as a challenge to try something new and to use as it an option to the commerical windows. Nothing wrong with that. I hope to do it soon myself. Oh, it's cheaper too.
