Someone please help me!!!! I bought bioshock the other day for my laptop that meets all the requirements and more. It has a geforce 7900 gs, and when I first installed it it ran fine, but now when I load it it stutters like crazy!!! I went and downloaded a driver for it but there is an error message saying that it could not locate any drivers that were compatable with my current hardware! Help me!!!

Did you try the new beta drivers, version 163.44?

I read they are supposed to help a lot with bioshock. You can get them directly from nvidia here:

Ah i see, probably because you have a laptop Geforce, the regular drivers will not install.

My bad i didn't notice that part at first. I think what you have is 7900GS-GO? Then you would have to check with the laptop makers site to see if there is any updated drivers.

I know if you search around some people modify nvidia drivers to work on laptop models also, but you know that could lead to other issues so it's more risky. Take a look here:

Also then take a look at this, since you use Vista:

nVidia doesn't list any Vista drivers for the GeForce GO 7800/7900 series
