Whilst im thinking about it i have an issue with BF2 and my HDTV.

I have a 32" Samsung HDTV connecting to my pc through HDMI - DVI and the picture is awesome until i load BF2 whilst its loading its fine you get to the menu screen and the top the bottom and some of the sides are missing. Its winding me up a treat any ideas ???

it seems you need set the right resolution. or your HDTV is wide-screen. i am not sure BF2 supports wide-screen. try every resoluton.

when in BF2 i only got the option for 800x600 and 1024x768

Go to your HDTV maker's website and see if there's an updated driver for it.

Fixed the issue and now its sweet as hehehehe.

Resolution as per below for future reference thanx anyways guys. Oh and you dont get drivers for hdtv's the drivers are within your graphics card :d

ok if you cant see the pic , basically right click the BF2 shortcut icon and in the target you should see "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 or something similar all i did was add +szx 1200 +szy 664 because i wanted my screen resolution to be 1200x664 and then loaded up the game and wooohoooo it works :D
