|The HD5000 cards seem to have issues with some PCIe 1.0A nVidia chipsets, such as the nForce4. However, they work fine with Intel 1.0A chipsets. And of course, they'll work with all PCIe 1.1 and 2.0 chipsets.|
I have an HD 5750 and it does not work at all with my nForce4 SLI-based system (no POST). However the card works fine in my Pentium M rig, which is based on a 1.0A Intel chipset.
Looks like you're using a G31-based board, so you're good to go.
