and another under between "PCI BUS" and the 2 above

is this normal? or a problem.. and does any1 know how to fix this?

What make/model motherboard?

It sounds like you have a board with integrated graphics, but you installed a video card (crappy one) without disabling the onboard video.

Have a look at your motherboard manual...in the BIOS section...probably something about shared RAM

Oooops, I confused your card with another...the 5600XT isn't a bad card.

OK, I had a look at your board's specs...it doesn't have onboard graphics. My guess would be you either had an SiS video card installed & didn't uninstall the old drivers properly, or you need to install the SiS AGP chipset driver. You can get it here:

after extracting the files to the destop when i click the setup it comes up with an error... C:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. The system file is not suitable to running MS-DOS and microsoft windows applications. Choose "close" to terminate the application."

right. i done a bit of looking around and found that it was a problem with some system files, iv now fixed it and installed the chip set drivers... but im still getting a problem with this monitor..

every time i open a window it exspands the screen

i still have the same enteries in conflicts/shared.

this leads me to belive.. installing the chipset drivers done nothing.

It's a bit unclear which driver you are trying to install, but the 5600XT isn't the newest about so maybe the most recent driver shouldn't be used. I have the same card and I use 61.77, which can be found here. It works fine for me.
First uninstall the current driver, restart, install new driver then restart again.
