Comment:
I recently got a hold of a copy of Halo for pc.
This is a great game in campaign mode, but when I tred to play online, it told me I needed to update. But, after I download the update file and try to run it, I get the following error message:
-------
Windows has found a problem with this file:
Name: _halopat.temp
Publisher: Unknown Publiser

This file was blocked because it does not have a valid digital signature that verifies it publisher.
-------

What's up with this? I download the update directly from Microsoft. I even tried downloading from other locations (fileshack, etc...) but I still get the same error.

Is there any way to disable the signature verification so I can run this update?

Thanks in advance,
Carlton

well my friend, is your copy legal or pirated? If its pirated than this will explain the digital signature verification problem. BUY GENIUNE!

Reinstall, and do a manual update
