Does it only do this when trying to join a multiplayer game online? Have you installed any of the updates? Many people are having trouble with lockup and crashes. This is a new one on me.

Sounds like someone got a hold of your cd-key. Duplicate cd-key's in one server will cause this problem. You are the original owner of the game I hope??

If this is the cause and it keeps happening, you should contact microsoft.
