Halo, cant see writing

when im in multiplay halo, i cant see the text of anyone, and i cant see it when i write something, any suggestions?

I had that problem too,with the demo though,just un and re install it,no problems after that...but why tho ??? email bungie ;>

Right click the shortcut to halo, Click on the compatibility tab, Remove the tick from Run this program in compatibility mode. I don't know how the tick got in my copy of the game but it took me weeks and weeks to figure this out.
